Venetian Masquerade Masks
Some Masquerade Masks such as those that depict that of a harlequin or joker, could be something we could use in the music video, not only to show an 'alter ego' of the main character but to also show the egos of the band members as well. These masks could symbolize the mischief and havoc the main character and the band members are causing, and it could show a colourful and fun side to these people. This mask, for example, would usually be worn by a Renaissance performer, and it could reflect that on the main character and the band.
Half-Masks
This Half-Mask/Phantom Mask as shown in this picture almost resembles that half-mask used for 'The Phantom Of The Opera'. Because these masks are blank, we may want to add our own designs on them so that it could work well with the alternative-rock genre characteristics. And because it is half of a mask, it could show the two sides to the main character/band members, as their faces will be half of a mask and half of their faces.
Gorilla (or other) Mask
Since the main character is going to be shown as a lively and crazy character, it would be very effective if we used a gorilla mask (or a mask of any other animal) to get this personality across to the audience. A gorilla could be said to be mischievous which is what we want the main character to be, so that he could 'monkey' around town, causing havoc for fun.
Full-Face Masks
The mask don't have to be venetian like this one, but Full-Face masks could be an alternative mask that could be worn by the main character (or maybe some of the band members). Since main character is seen to be splitting into two people (split-personality), one of these people, who is going out, could wear this sort of mask so that he could differentiate himself with the other person who is staying at home and wearing no mask. In other words, it could create a balance between to the two split personalities.
