• He wants his girlfriend to stay at home with him and not go out. 
• He wants to go out but his girlfriend doesn't want him to.

2nd Verse:

• He wants to go out but she doesn't want him to.
• He wants to go out so he isn't alone at home and doesn't feel like everything is happening without him.

3rd Verse: 

• He wants to go out and be happy and carefree and just have fun. 

4th Verse: 

• She is mad at him and for once it isn't his fault. 
• He is tired of doing what she wants
• He doesn't want to upset her more by telling her what he is thinking.
• The argument is dying down
